Registered Dental Hygienist

Our office, Periodontal Associates Inc, located in Lyndhurst, OH, is seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. We also have a beautiful location in Mentor, giving flexibility to work from either office based on business needs.

• Perform thorough and accurate oral assessments to identify patients' oral health conditions.
• Clean and remove plaque, tartar, and stains from patients' teeth using various dental instruments.
• Administer local anesthesia to patients as required for dental procedures.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and using mouthwash.
• Provide personalized recommendations for oral care products based on individual patient needs.
• Take dental X‑rays and process them for the dentist's evaluation.
• Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride varnishes or sealants to protect patients' teeth.
• Conduct periodontal charting and assist the dentist in identifying and treating gum diseases.

Schedule:

Monday - Thursday 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• Newly licensed dental hygienist is encouraged to apply.

• High school diploma.
