Periodontal Associates Inc, located in Lyndhurst, OH, seeks a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist. The role offers flexibility to work from either our Lyndhurst or Mentor offices, depending on business needs.
We place a high priority on patient care and aim to provide a world‑class specialty experience. The Dental Hygienist will support this mission by delivering exceptional oral hygiene services with a focus on quality, safety, and patient education.
Responsibilities- Perform thorough and accurate oral assessments to identify patients’ oral health conditions.
- Clean and remove plaque, tartar, and stains from patients’ teeth using various dental instruments.
- Administer local anesthesia as required for dental procedures.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and mouthwash use.
- Provide personalized recommendations for oral care products based on individual patient needs.
- Take dental X‑rays and process them for the dentist’s evaluation.
- Apply preventive treatments such as fluoride varnishes or sealants to protect patients’ teeth.
- Conduct periodontal charting and assist the dentist in identifying and treating gum diseases.
Schedule:
Monday – Thursday, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Newly licensed Dental Hygienist is encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations.

- Strong attention to detail.
- Well‑organized and reliable.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications.

Position base pay range: $38,000 – $45,000 USD.
