Employment Mechanic
Marshall Power Equipment is looking for a reliable mechanic for year‑round employment for both of our locations.
- Perform routine/preventative maintenance on outdoor power equipment (2-cycle and 4-cycle engines)
- Knowledge and experience with diesel engines is a plus
- Knowledgeable about hydraulics, belt systems, electrical, and welding
- Provide your own tools
- Must be highly motivated and provide exceptional customer service

Parts DeskMarshall Power Equipment in Lyndhurst is seeking a full‑time customer service associate. The right person for this job must be able to navigate parts applications via the internet. The right candidate must be motivated, provide exceptional customer service, work well with others and possess great organizational skills. Computer experience is a must; therefore the right person will be trained in C‑Systems Software and Part Smart.
Experience with outdoor power equipment is helpful but not required.
High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Must have a clean background with no criminal, driving, or drug problems. Qualified applicant must be able to work Saturdays and extended hours during peak busy months.

Sales PersonMarshall Power Equipment is looking for a reliable sales person for year‑round employment for our Chesterland location. We are considered the area leader in outdoor power equipment with two locations and have grown steadily since 1954. This is an internal sales position located in our clean, modern showroom. We offer on‑the‑job training as well as growth opportunity.
Overview: This position has a base salary plus a yearly commission. The right candidate will be motivated and results driven.
Responsibilities: Product displays, stocking and maintaining the showroom, and demonstrating, financing, and selling equipment. The candidate will represent our company selling tractors, zero‑turns, 2‑cycle, and other outdoor power equipment. Candidate will build customer rapport by identifying their needs, discussing product questions and concerns, and making outbound calls as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Attend sales training and seminars on product knowledge as well as product financing guidelines
- Continue to expand product knowledge by staying updated with industry trends and market conditions
- Conduct new equipment field demonstrations
Candidate Skill Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proven experience in inside sales or similar role
- Ability to make warm calls and effectively engage with potential customers
- Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills including a knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
- Self‑motivated with a strong desire to achieve sales targets
- Fluency in Spanish is a plus
- Strong desire to help maintain and grow the company as part of a team environment
Pay: Based on experience. 401(k) matching, Health insurance, Paid time off, Paid training.
Schedule: Business hours are Mon‑Fri 8:00‑5:00, Saturday 8:00‑2:00.
