Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.;
Conduct regular and random foot patrols of corridors, waiting areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns.;
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with clinical staff and/or local emergency services as needed.;
Support access control by monitoring entrances, verifying authorized entry, assisting with visitor directions, and helping manage queues and/or after-hours entry per site policies.;
Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate observations to site leadership, and participate in shift briefings and other post orders as assigned.
