Provide customer service at a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities;
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while communicating with staff, visitors, and/or emergency personnel as needed;
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, hallways, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior;
Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas, help to control access, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations according to post instructions;
Support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff by providing directions, assistance, and/or de-escalation during stressful situations
