Job Schedule:

Day Time Mon 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM | Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM | Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with directions, screening processes, and/or policy questions while maintaining a professional presence.
  • Support staff and visitors during medical-related emergencies, facility disruptions, and/or after-hours activity by following post orders and communicating with supervisors and local responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements
  • Vaccines are required for this hospital site.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
