SUMMARY
Assembles, populates components, solders, tests, electronic printed circuit board assemblies. Repairs boards at component level.
Knowledge, skills and abilities- Installs components and parts such as switches, coils, transformers, relays, transistors and semi-conductor circuits in chassis, circuit boards, panels & other units.
- Pulls and preps parts.
- Responsible for receiving inventory.
- Inspects and tests the finished printed circuit boards.
- Operates computer controlled automated equipment. Could be required to perform some routine maintenance and repairs.
- Responsible for quality assurance of finished work.
- Examines work for exactness, neatness, and conformance to specifications.
- Completes all work orders accurately for each job.
- Perform routine cycle counts when required.
- Evaluate RMA’s and warranty claims.
- Receives and inspects electronics inventory.
- Input diagnostic results into a digital application.
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
- Functions in a workplace of dignity and respect for all.
- Functions as a team member and to get along with others.

- Reports for work on time as scheduled and ready to perform.
- Performs other similar or related duties as directed, assigned or as necessary to accomplish the department’s objectives in an effective manner.
- Accountable for all concerns within their scope of work and has the absolute responsibility to remedy, report and/or communicate any issue to managers, supervisors, safety or environmental managers as appropriate.
- Follows all safe work practices, watches out for fellow workers, and keeps their work area clean.
- Ensures area remains compliant regarding hazardous waste, non-hazardous waste and universal waste.
