A leading healthcare organization near Lynn Haven, Florida is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Nurse Manager to oversee evening operations in a 44-bed emergency department that averages 140180 patient visits daily. This position supervises approximately 55 clinical and support staff and plays a key role in optimizing workflow, patient safety, and team performance.

ResponsibilitiesProvide day-to-day oversight of Emergency Department operations during evening hours.
Manage staffing, assignments, and resource utilization to maintain safe and efficient care delivery.
Collaborate with physicians and ancillary departments to improve coordination and throughput.
Drive quality, safety, and patient satisfaction initiatives within the department.
Participate in budget management, scheduling, and performance improvement planning.
Mentor and coach clinical staff to promote engagement and professional excellence.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
Represent the department on hospital committees and community outreach programs.
QualificationsRequired:
Active RN license in Florida or Compact State (Florida endorsement within 90 days)
Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing; enrollment in BSN program required
Minimum of 35 years of recent leadership experience in an acute care Emergency Department
Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
Preferred:
Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher
Emergency or trauma certification (CEN, TNCC, ENP, or equivalent)
