We have access to digital radiography, state-of-the-art in-house lab equipment, as well as updated dental and anesthesia units. Our very own North Bay Animal App is a great complement to our thriving Facebook page, and a direct texting service allows our clients easy access to our hospital team during business hours.

$130,000–$150,000 Base Salary + Production | Up to $50,000 Total Sign-On Bonus package | No Weekends

North Bay Animal Hospital is a thriving three-doctor small animal practice in a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility seeking an Associate Veterinarian who values collaboration, enjoys practicing high-quality medicine, and wants a schedule that leaves time to enjoy life outside of work.

You’ll practice alongside experienced doctors with a strong support team and approximately a 2:1 support staff-to-DVM ratio, giving you the resources and autonomy to focus on great medicine and exceptional patient care.

Essential Responsibilities What You’ll Do
  • Provide high-quality, compassionate medical care for companion animals
  • Perform comprehensive exams, diagnostics, routine surgeries, and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Interpret laboratory results, radiographs, and other diagnostic findings to guide patient care
  • Build trusted relationships with clients through clear communication and education
  • Partner with fellow veterinarians and the support team to provide collaborative, efficient patient care
  • Guide clients through all stages of their pet’s life, including preventive care and end-of-life decisions
  • Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  • Practice in accordance with veterinary medical standards, ethics, and applicable regulations
Requirements/Qualifications

What You’ll Bring
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an AVMA-accredited program
  • Active Florida veterinary license or ability to obtain
  • Confidence providing high-quality medical and surgical care
  • Strong communication and client relationship skills
  • Collaborative, positive, and team-oriented approach
  • Commitment to compassionate patient care and continued professional growth
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds independently and assist with larger patients or equipment as needed
