The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. You will play a vital role in supporting the financial health of the company, working closely with management and vendors.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Reconcile bank statements and company accounts
• Prepare financial reports, statements, and forecasts
• Assist with budgeting and financial planning
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and deadlines
• Process payroll and related employee financial records
• Maintain organized and accurate financial documentation
• Collaborate with leadership on financial strategy and improvements
• Support annual audits and liaise with external auditors

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven work experience as an Accountant or in a similar role (minimum 2 years preferred)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, Xero, or similar)
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle confidential information
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

• Experience in the construction, landscaping, or service industry
• Knowledge of payroll processing
• CPA qualification or working towards it
