Join Meridian Lightweight Technologies as an Accounting Clerk in Middlesex Centre, Ontario. This full‑time position offers you the chance to support the finance team and manage key accounting functions.
As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the Accounts Payable System and assisting with Accounts Receivable processes. Your responsibilities will include preparing monthly reports, performing bank reconciliations, and analyzing financial data to facilitate recent projects. Attention to detail and robust organizational skills are essential in this in‑person role.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain Accounts Payable System across locations
- Prepare monthly journal entries and schedules
- Conduct variance analysis and program milestone reviews
- Upload supplier invoices to ERP system daily
- Prepare expense accruals and payment runs
- Post‑secondary education in Accounting or Business
- Minimum 1 year relevant experience in accounting
- Enrollment in CGA or CMA program is desirable
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Commitment to supporting the finance team effectively
