Job DescriptionAll interns start as a team from their first day, and bond as a unified group. During the first week of the internship program, the intern class will go through a comprehensive training and professional education program. This program is designed to ensure that the intern has all the tools necessary to perform their day-to-day duties, as well as the ability to accelerate quickly in their career.
Everyone will receive a “buddy” whose main purpose is to answer any questions and guarantee the intern adapts to their new responsibilities and environment as quickly and seamlessly as possible. Interns will be scheduled on a variety of industries and clients while working in small groups with other Associates, Semi Seniors, Seniors, Supervisors and Managers. During this time, the intern will focus on developing skills, building their technical knowledge, understanding, and executing diligent client service, and getting oriented to the Firm’s practices, policies, and culture.
Work is performed under close supervision.
- Junior or Senior students, graduating within the next 12 – 18 months with a bachelor’s or master's degree in accounting.
- Master's degree or plan to complete 150 credit hours to become CPA licensed.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, initiative and leadership skills.
- We do not sponsor or transfer work visas.
- 6-week program (June-August)
- All interns receive Associate-level training and opportunities to work on client engagements.
- Interns will participate in a series of team building events alongside other interns and Grassi professionals.
- Grassi Jeopardy, staff and networking lunches, CPA Review presentation, team building events & much more.
- Interns will network with Grassi team members to build relationships and experience the firm’s people and culture.
- All interns are invited to attend our annual Firm Day event.
- Interns are invited to participate in our charitable days of giving known as Grassi Gives Back.
- Networking & interview project—provides a well-rounded experience for our interns to conclude their experience.
