About the RoleWe’re looking for a Solar Construction Project Manager on behalf of our client. This is a 2‑month contract assignment (W‑2) located in Avon, NY 14414. Per diem is available. You will report to the onsite manager.
Key Responsibilities- Site Management: oversee ground‑mounted system installation and coordinate with contractors to ensure adherence to local Avon, NY solar regulations.
- Grid Interconnection: manage technical aspects of connecting high‑capacity solar systems with the Solar Farm.
- Project Planning, Budgeting, Scheduling, and Team Communication from development through commissioning.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 5+ years of hands‑on experience with technical installation on commercial solar systems.
- Strong ability to read and understand solar energy system drawings and schematics.
- Two- or four‑year Technical Degree.
- Experience with Helioscope or similar solar design software.
- Background managing commercial solar projects from 50 kW to 1.5 MW scale.
- Familiarity with utility interconnection processes and AHJ permitting.

Estimated $40.00/hr to $45.00/hr, dependent on experience, qualifications and skills.
