Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a Customer Care Representative to support our client’s utility bill management operations. This one‑year contract (W‑2) requires a customer‑focused professional skilled in documenting customer issues and delivering high‑level service. The role involves ensuring accurate account management and a seamless customer experience, reporting to the onsite manager.

Location: 3527 N Buffalo St. Orchard Park, NY 14127 OR 5672 Main St. Williamsville, NY 14221

• Serve as the primary contact for customers, utility providers, vendors, and third‑party suppliers.
• Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns, ensuring follow‑up and complete resolution.
• Manage daily utility‑billing activities, including account setup, maintenance, and closure.
• Provide support on billing inquiries, disconnection notices, and utility/vendor contract matters.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date customer records within CRM and billing systems.
• Monitor account activity and identify discrepancies or issues requiring attention.
• Analyze recurring customer concerns and recommend process improvements to enhance service delivery.
• Assist with special projects and contribute to ongoing operational and process‑improvement initiatives.

• Associate degree or equivalent experience, with at least four years in a customer‑facing role.
• Preferred experience in energy or utilities, not required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including advanced Excel for complex spreadsheets, and Word.

Base salary range: $20.00/hr. to $24.00/hr, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills.
