Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Dental Assistant role located in the Greater Boston area. The Dental Assistant will support dentists during clinical procedures, including preparing treatment rooms, arranging instruments, and assisting chairside with exams, cleanings, and restorative treatments. Daily responsibilities include sterilizing and organizing equipment, maintaining infection control standards, updating patient records, and providing clear, friendly communication to help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatment.

The role also involves taking x-rays as permitted, managing supplies, coordinating with front office staff, and contributing to an efficient, patient-focused workflow.

Qualifications
  • Candidates should possess skills in Dental Assisting and Dentistry to effectively support clinical procedures and patient care.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Dental Care and Oral Care to promote preventive treatment, patient education, and overall oral health.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Sterilization and infection control to maintain a safe, compliant clinical environment.
  • CDA or current state-required certifications or licenses.
  • Experience with dental office software(We use Curve), scheduling, and electronic health records is beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills, with a focus on patient comfort and professionalism.
  • Ability to follow clinical protocols, manage multiple tasks, and remain organized in a fast-paced setting.
  • CPR certification and Infection Control
