QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's Degree required;
Master's Degree preferred?
* Experience working with families of young children preferred.
* The ability to speak, write, and read Spanish or (Haitian Creole, Khmer, Arabic, and Portuguese) Strongly encouraged but not required.
* An understanding of the concepts of institutional and structural racism, and bias, and their impact on underserved and underrepresented communities
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills and ability to work with all stakeholders?

Job Details
The Preschool Recruitment and Enrollment Specialist is responsible for the functions around enrollment, family recruitment and program eligibility in Lynn Public Schools Preschool Partnership Programs and the Lynn Public Schools PreK Lottery. The Preschool Recruitment and Enrollment Specialist's essential duties are to collect, enter, report and maintain data, records and reports related to the preschool application process including program eligibility, recruitment efforts, selection, enrollment and attendance of children in the programs.
This position is supported in part by grant funding.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Recruitment and Selection
* Actively participate and aid in creating and implementing programs' recruitment plan.
* Attend community events and activities to recruit new families.
* Participate in programs' selection and placement meetings.
* Complete and follow up on intake referrals.
Enrollment and Eligibility
* Communicate and meet with potential families and provide information regarding program eligibility requirements.
* Collect, copy and process all documents received from families related to eligibility.
* Oversee all activities related to the processing of applications.
* Provide frequent communication with families regarding application status.
* Input application and all communication with family, into database system.
* Strive to achieve 100% program enrollment for all program options, supporting a minimum of 10% enrollment of children with disabilities.
* Maintain an active waitlist.
* Participate in monthly program enrollment meetings
Attendance and Participation
* Monitor, prepare and distribute reports including monthly attendance analysis to ensure that attendance does not fall below local state standard.
* Compare and reconcile attendance reports, reporting inconsistencies to partners, and LPS Admin team.
Utilize Information and Technical Systems
* Maintain and monitor a comprehensive record keeping system through documents and through database system.
* Maintain statistical data as required by EEC grants.
* Perform detailed data entry work and data compilations to ensure the program's timely preparation of reports.
* Ensure on-going monitoring, tracking, follow-up and analysis of enrollment data, and produce regular reports.
Strategic Initiatives
* Support the implementation and continuous improvement of early childhood strategic initiatives in collaboration with district leadership and community partners.
