Overview
The College of Communication and Design at Lynn University is seeking an adjunct faculty member for Film. Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses. The college also hosts a variety of graduate programs leading to M.S. and M.F.A. degrees.
Responsibilities- Serve as an undergraduate adjunct faculty in the College of Communication and Design.
- Provide academic and professional advice to students.
- Depending on the successful candidate’s area of expertise, teach courses such as:
- Film Appreciation
- Film Editing
- Studio Production
- Documentary
- Interpersonal Communication
- Public Speaking
- Organizational Communication
- Persuasion and Propaganda
- Communication Analysis and Criticism
- Communication Theories
Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:
- Ability to teach introductory and intermediate communication and design courses.
- Ability to demonstrate excellence in teaching at the college level.
- Ability to work successfully with students of diverse backgrounds.
Minimum qualification:
- Master’s degree required.
