Summary:
The College of Communication and Design at Lynn University is in search of an adjunct faculty member. Primary responsibilities include teaching undergraduate courses across a variety of majors and minors in communication and media arts, and supporting the college’s graduate programs leading to M.S. and M.F.A. degrees.
- Serve as an undergraduate adjunct faculty member in the College of Communication and Design
- Provide academic and professional advice to students
- Teach introductory and intermediate communication and design courses, with courses potentially including Film Appreciation, Film Editing, Studio Production, Documentary, Interpersonal Communication, Public Speaking, Organizational Communication, Persuasion and Propaganda, Communication Analysis and Criticism, and Communication Theories
- Master’s degree required
- Ability to teach at the college level and demonstrate excellence in teaching
- Ability to work successfully with students from diverse backgrounds
