Minimum 1+ years special education experience required.

Location: Southbridge, MA (15 minute drive from Dudley, MA)

Start/End Date: August 26, 2024 – June 17, 2025

Hours per Week: 35

Hourly Rate: $40/hr

Caseload: Elementary level, specializing in Autism-specific classrooms with 12 students per classroom.

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Elementary Special Education Teacher to join our team in Southbridge, just a 15 minute drive from Dudley, for the  school year. This full-time, in-person role involves working in Autism-specific classrooms, providing specialized instruction and support to students. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping each student reach their full potential within a structured and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to the needs of each student.
• Provide specialized instruction and support in Autism-specific classrooms with a caseload of 12 students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, and other support staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
• Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional methods as needed to ensure student success.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on student progress and involve them in their childs education.

Required Credentials/Non-Negotiables:

• Must meet all state requirements for Special Education teaching credentials in Massachusetts.
• In-person candidates only; remote applicants will not be considered.
