Fitness Floor Attendant; fill-in

About The Role

We have a new opportunity for a substitute Fitness Floor Attendant at our corporate fitness center in Lynn, Massachusetts. This role involves exercise floor supervision, member interaction, and equipment monitoring.

• Interact with participants and monitor equipment and participant safety.
• Welcome members by greeting, answering questions, responding to requests at the front desk, and inputting data into the membership system.
• Perform facility maintenance responsibilities; ensure the facility, equipment, and locker rooms are clean and stocked.
• Understand and execute emergency medical procedures throughout the facility.
• Demonstrate and instruct on the proper use of exercise equipment.
• Other duties as needed/assigned.

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Adult CPR/AED & First Aid certifications from the American Red Cross, the American Heart Association, or the American Safety & Health Institute required.
• Prior fitness and customer service experience strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lb for restacking.
• Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills, including the ability to motivate others.
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team with enthusiasm, initiative, and creativity.
• Required to attend a safety training class on a Tuesday at 8:00 AM.
• Applicants must meet hiring requirements, including but not limited to a pre‑employment drug test.

$20.00/hr – $21.00/hr pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
