Job DescriptionEducator Building Substitute – Middle School. This role works 180 days during the school year with pay of $165 per day and is eligible for health, dental and life insurance benefits.
About Lynn Public SchoolsLynn is a vibrant, seaside urban community located just north of Boston. The district serves approximately 17,000 students across 29 school sites, including 3 middle schools. The community is linguistically and culturally rich, with 60% of students speaking two or more languages.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree (minimum)
- Strong desire to work with students in an urban setting
- Ability to work effectively with teachers, support staff, and parents and advocate for children to solve problems
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills and ability to work with all stakeholders
- May be eligible for a long‑term substitution position with a minimum of a BA
- Work 180 days during the school year
- Perform classroom duties as directed by the school and support student learning and safety.
