Therapeutic Resource Para - Willingness to support special education students across multiple course and grade levels and help implement behavior intervention plans.

• Work with individual students or small groups to reinforce learning of material or skills introduced by the teacher
• Assist the teacher in devising strategies for reinforcing material or skills
• Guide independent study, enrichment work, and remedial work as assigned
• Check notebooks, correct papers, and supervise testing and makeup work
• Assist with large group activities such as reading aloud or storytelling
• Inform the regular teacher of any program or information about a student; communicate concerns regarding students
• Maintain high ethical standards and confidentiality of student information

Principal and Classroom Teacher

• As negotiated with Lynn School Committee and Lynn Teachers Union/Paraprofessionals Unit
• 180 days per year

Starting salary is $24.89 per hour. Salary will be adjusted pending verification of additional college credits.
