- Completing project tasks with a team of other co‑ops and Amazon engineers
- Utilizing Amazon engineering tools and processes
- Prototyping and testing concepts or features
- Tracking progress of task deliverables
- Developing and maintaining design documentation
- Presenting information to managers and engineers
Our co‑op program provides hands‑on learning and building experiences for students who are interested in a career in hardware engineering. In addition to working on an impactful project, you will have the opportunity to engage with Amazonians for both personal and professional development, expand your network, and participate in fun activities with other interns. - Are 18 years of age or older
- Currently working toward a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or higher in Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, Materials Science, Physics, or related STEM fields
- Knowledge of hardware engineering fundamentals in one or more of mechanical, electrical, hardware test, reliability, quality, failure analysis, manufacturing, or similar disciplines
- Experience with hardware design, development, and testing
- Experience with applicable hardware physical tools, digital tools, and methods (e.g., 3D CAD)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Previous technical internship(s) or demonstrated project experience
