This role offers the opportunity to work on critical projects that support grid reliability, energy security, and the evolving power landscape.

The Project Scheduling Manager will play a key role in planning, developing, and managing project schedules throughout the full project lifecycle, from early-stage development and engineering through procurement, construction, commissioning, and commercial operation. This individual will collaborate with both internal teams and external partners to ensure project schedules are accurate, actionable, and aligned with strategic business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, maintain, and manage integrated project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software.
  • Create and monitor baseline schedules covering development, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operational milestones.
  • Review and oversee contractor and EPC schedules to ensure alignment with project objectives, contract requirements, and industry best practices.
  • Perform schedule risk assessments, scenario modeling, and recovery planning to address potential delays.
  • Track project progress, analyze schedule performance, and identify risks to key milestones and commercial operation dates.
  • Generate schedule reports, executive dashboards, and look-ahead schedules for leadership and project stakeholders.
  • Support cost forecasting and Earned Value Management (EVM) efforts through integration of schedule and project controls data.
  • Evaluate schedule impacts related to change orders, scope changes, and potential claims.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders to maintain alignment on critical path activities and project milestones.
  • Ensure scheduling processes follow company standards, contractual obligations, and established project controls practices.
Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Controls, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 5+ years of project scheduling experience supporting large industrial, infrastructure, energy, or EPC projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of Primavera P6 scheduling methodologies and project controls best practices.
  • Experience reviewing and managing contractor schedules within an EPC or owner-representative environment.
  • Strong understanding of project execution from development through construction, commissioning, and commercial operation.
Preferred
  • PMP, PMI-SP, PSP, or equivalent project controls certification.
  • Experience supporting conventional power generation, combined cycle, gas turbine, renewable energy, or other major energy infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with Earned Value Management (EVM), schedule risk analysis, and project forecasting methodologies.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills in complex project environments.
