Cybersecurity Platform Engineer
OpportunityEveryone is trying to “harness the cloud,” yet many don’t know how. As a Dev Ops engineer at Booz Allen, you will develop, manage, and secure a container platform that meets your client’s needs and takes advantage of cloud capabilities. You’ll design and implement container management software to solve some of our clients’ toughest challenges.
Role & ResponsibilitiesYou’ll use your technical skills to drive mission‑forward change. Working with the latest cloud technologies, you’ll improve client environments with current container software, ensuring seamless orchestration. You’ll support strategy, design, and standards throughout the containerization process, advise on resources to help clients adopt and secure containers, and continue strengthening Dev Ops skills while supporting critical cloud platforms.
You Have- 5+ years of experience in developing tools and processes to drive Dev Ops or Dev Sec Ops maturity by automating builds, regression testing, monitoring, and releases across environments
- 5+ years of experience troubleshooting, triaging, and resolving CI/CD pipeline failures or slowness
- Experience developing, managing, and securing containers
- Experience working with application development teams across the software development lifecycle and creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative team environment
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor's degree, or 8+ years of experience in Dev Ops in lieu of a degree
- Experience with enterprise cloud‑native solutions involving Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, or Azure
- Improving continuous automation across multiple technical stacks
- Improving continuous deployment tools built on Kubernetes
- Triaging and resolving issues related to both open source and commercial tools in public cloud environments
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Linux Shell Script
- Master’s degree

Compensation & BenefitsSalary range: $77,600.00 to $ (annualized USD). Benefits include health, life, disability, financial, retirement plans, paid leave, professional development, tuition assistance, work‑life programs, and dependent care. Full‑time and part‑time employees working at least 20 hours per week are eligible for full benefit programs.
