We're partnering with an industry-leading organization in the life sciences/manufacturing space to identify a senior OT Cybersecurity Architect to support a large-scale cybersecurity and regulatory compliance initiative for industrial automation systems.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in strengthening OT cybersecurity, implementing industry security standards, and helping modernize a mature automation platform within a highly regulated environment.

What You'll Do
  • Lead implementation of OT cybersecurity initiatives and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Assess existing industrial automation environments and identify cybersecurity gaps.
  • Develop and implement secure OT architectures, including network segmentation and defense-in-depth strategies.
  • Secure and harden PLC, SCADA, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Perform cyber risk assessments, threat modeling, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Support patch management and secure configuration of validated OT systems.
  • Partner with cross-functional engineering, automation, infrastructure, validation, and cybersecurity teams.
  • Contribute to audit readiness and regulatory compliance efforts.
What We're Looking For
  • 8+ years of experience in OT/ICS cybersecurity or industrial automation.
  • Hands‑on experience with Rockwell Automation platforms (Control Logix, Compact Logix, Studio 5000).
  • Experience securing SCADA environments (Ignition preferred).
  • Strong understanding of IEC 62443 and industrial cybersecurity best practices.
  • Experience with industrial networking, firewalls, secure remote access, and OT architecture.
  • Familiarity with GMP, regulated manufacturing environments, and Computer System Validation (CSV).
  • Experience with Windows Server hardening, Active Directory, vulnerability management, and secure system configuration.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering and cybersecurity teams.
Preferred Experience
  • Life sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated manufacturing industries.
  • Experience supporting Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) initiatives.
  • Certifications such as IEC 62443, GICSP, CISSP, or Rockwell Automation credentials.
