Position Summary
The role leads and develops teams, manages store operations, drives financial performance, and ensures exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include coaching associates, implementing business initiatives, addressing customer issues, managing profit & loss, and promoting a culture of belonging and integrity.
Responsibilities- Lead and mentor associates, providing training, feedback, and recognition.
- Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology and merchandising initiatives.
- Implement store change efforts, set clear expectations, and guide teams toward achieving business objectives.
- Model exceptional customer service standards and manage customer service initiatives such as community outreach programs.
- Develop and execute action plans to resolve customer complaints, improve processes, and enhance the customer experience.
- Review and evaluate profit and loss statements, budgeting, forecasting, and expense control to drive sales and profit goals.
- Maintain inventory flow, seasonal transitions, merchandise presentation, and operational processes.
- Recruit, hire, train, and mentor hourly associates and develop their professional growth.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and values, and promote a culture of belonging and integrity.
- Build collaborative relationships with stakeholders, communicate goals, and manage accountability for results.
- Leverage data insights to make strategic decisions that balance short-term and long-term priorities.
- Champion continuous improvement, adopt new technologies, and support others through change.
- Minimum of 2 years of college or equivalent retail plus supervisory experience.
- For firearm or ammunition sales locations, completion of a firearms-specific background check and authorized training or the relevant state certificate of eligibility.
- Commitment to complete all required trainings and assessments.
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or related degree completed through Live Better U or Bellevue University.
- Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U or Bellevue University.
- General supervisory experience with 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.

Compensation and BenefitsAnnual salary range: $65,000.00 – $80,000.00. Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses, regional pay zone adjustments, and complex structure considerations. Benefits include medical, vision, dental coverage; 401(k) with company match; paid time off; life insurance; disability coverage; adoption and surrogacy reimbursement; and more.
