John Beccia for Congress:
Field Fellowship

John Beccia for Congress seeks Student Field Fellows for the MA-06 race.

John Beccia is a North Shore dad and business leader running for Congress to bring a new kind of leadership to Washington – leadership rooted in working-class values, proven in the private sector, and driven by a commitment to make government work for people again. He knows how to get things done because he's done it: building businesses and creating jobs, all while protecting consumers.

But he knows our economy is not working for everyone and that affordability is a daily concern. John is running for Congress to stand up to Trump as he dismantles our democratic institutions. He wants to ensure that his children and the next generation have the same chance to take advantage of the best that this country has to offer.

Each fellow will be a critical part of the team that elects John Beccia to Congress in the highly competitive 2026 primary race. Students engaged in this program will come away with a behind the scenes view of a political campaign, a baseline knowledge of the skills used in grassroots organizing – including volunteer engagement, event planning, voter persuasion, and data management – as well as new professional opportunities building toward a future career in politics.

Organizing Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Making phone calls, knocking on doors, & doing other direct voter contact on behalf of the campaign
  • Represent John Beccia for Congress across a diverse range of community settings
  • Working with the team on special projects, such as running volunteer team meetings

About you:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to discuss political issues and convey the stakes of the election with donors and volunteers from a wide range of backgrounds.
  • Enthusiasm for government, policy, and political campaigns.
  • You're an effective multitasker with excellent communication skills
  • You're extremely organized, detail-oriented, and analytical
  • You're proactive with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • You have experience working with G-Suite and Microsoft Office products
  • Proactive problem-solving and leadership skills.
