Job Summary

Responsible for patient care and support within the outpatient setting through providing compassionate care, assisting in procedures, and collaborating effectively in a dynamic ambulatory care environment.

• Deliver direct patient care and support, ensuring high nursing standards.
• Conduct patient assessments, devise care plans, and assist in outpatient procedures with a focus on patient comfort and safety.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and post‑procedure care.
• Collaborate closely with healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Administer medications, perform IV therapy, and maintain accurate patient records in compliance with regulations.
• Uphold infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff.

• Education: Associate’s degree Nursing required; bachelor’s degree Nursing preferred.
• Experience: Clinical nursing experience 0‑1 year required; ambulatory care or outpatient experience 1‑2 years preferred.
• Licenses and Credentials: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts required; BLS required, ACLS preferred.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Proficient knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and healthcare technologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continuing education and professional development.
