Accounting Associate

Accounting Associate Named by The Boston Globe as one of the Top Places to Work in Massachusetts for the last four years, our community-based, mission-driven hospice and palliative care organization seeks an Accounting Associate to join its dynamic administrative team.

Our not-for-profit hospice and palliative care organization has an opportunity for an organized, detail-oriented, compassionate, and resourceful individual. Candidate must have strong communication and time management skills and be eager and willing to handle the diverse responsibilities of the job with a helpful, professional attitude, and a friendly demeanor.

Job Responsibilities:

The Accounting Associate engages in fiscal billing and supports multiple aspects of managing and analyzing the organization’s financial records to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Schedule and Weekly

Hours:

Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm.

Education,

Skills and Experience:

College degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Insurance billing background (hospice or other type of facility) or some accounting experience.

Experience with any accounting program (Quick Books, Sage, Aplos, etc)

Pay Range:$46,000-$50,000:
This number reflects an average starting range for this position. Individual pay is determined through a variety of factors including experience, education, certifications, and skills and can exceed the range.
