Job Summary:
We are looking for a stellar Registered Nurse to care for our patients and facilitate their speedy recovery within our growing Plastic Surgery practice. The Nurse OR Manager performs duties relevant to surgical operations. This includes coordinating surgery, keeping appropriate patient records, entering post-surgical data, compliance and accreditation, and monitoring supplies and surgical equipment. He/she has strong organizational and communication skills.
The ideal candidate will be a responsible and well-trained professional able to give the best nursing care with little supervision. You will be compassionate, personable, and cool-tempered. You will be able to follow health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to promote patient’s well-being by providing high quality nursing care.

Responsibilities:
- Manage surgery and staffing schedules
- Ensure compliance with all standards including AAAASF
- Oversee periodic credentialing inspections
- Enter data and complete paperwork
- Front desk tasks
- Perform additional administrative tasks
- Ensure availability of necessary equipment and supplies, oversee inventory
- Function as OR nurse, scrub tech and/or recovery nurse when necessary
- Recruit and manage facilities personnel, contractors, recovery and circulating nurses, and other relevant staff
- Works to increase utilization of the facility by recruiting surgeons and necessary staff
- Watch costs and efficiencies of surgery center
Qualifications:
- BLS and ACLS certification
- 7+ years of experience as an RN
- Experience working in a surgical environment
- Demonstrated knowledge of scheduling and strong organizational capabilities
- Proficiency in basic computer operations and ability to learn Nextech, the facility software
- Comfortable and familiar with OSHA and HIPAA regulations
- Experience with in an AAAASF-accredited facility
- Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
