As an unarmed Patrol Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and assist customers and team members with clear communication and service. You will document observations, respond to concerns, and support a positive shopping experience.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients and guests by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales floor, entrances, stock areas, and exterior perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with de-escalation and coordinating with store management and/or local authorities as needed.

+ Monitor cameras and/or alarm indicators when assigned, observe for suspicious activity that may help to deter theft and other unwanted activity, and document observations according to post orders.

+ Complete routine reports and incident documentation, communicate shift activity to oncoming personnel, and maintain a professional presence that may help to deter inappropriate behavior.

* + Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
