The Town of Savoy Highway Department is seeking qualified applicants for the full-time position (40 hours/week) of Operator/Mechanic
.
- Conducting inspections of vehicle systems- hydraulic, electrical, mechanical systems, including fuel lines
- Performing repairs and maintenance on Town vehicles and equipment
- Maintaining an equipment maintenance log and schedule
- Ensuring that all equipment is maintained in safe working condition.
- The servicing and maintenance of the entire vehicle fleet and equipment for the Town of Savoy.
- Snow plowing will be required during the winter season.
