A highly innovative Medical & Scientific Engineering Company located in Cambridge, MA (USA) are now hiring a brand new Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join the team & business during an exciting period of growth.

The annual salary on offer for the successful Senior Embedded Software Engineer is $140,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on skillset and experience.
Bonus & Equity is offered.

The successful Senior Embedded Software Engineer will take ownership to lead the architecture, development, verification, and lifecycle ownership of Embedded SW & Firmware development for the company’s advanced medical & scientific products and technology.

• Education – BS/MS/PhD degree in Computer Engineering Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Math
• Minimum of 5 years industry experience
• Embedded Software Programming in C, C++, Python
• RTOS - FreeRTOS, VxWorks, Zephyr or similar
• Embedded Linux development experience
• Experience of microcontrollers – STM
  32, ARM Microcontrollers, PIC, SoC
• Network protocols – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485, Ethernet, CAN
• HDL/FPGA experience for Verilog or VHDL –

• Understanding with IEC 62304, ISO 14971, ISO 13485 standards and design controls supporting FDA and CE submissions –

• Medical Device Software Safety Classes (Class A, B &
  
  C) –

• Industry experience for Medical Devices, Neuroscience, Aerospace, Defence, Automotive or other safety critical industries
