Overview

Licensed Optical Keyholder position at Market Street, Lynnfield, MA. Warby Parker is seeking a Licensed Optical Supervisor (often called Optical Keyholder at other brands) to join our team of in-house optical professionals.

In this role, you’ll rely on your optical expertise, friendly demeanor, and product knowledge to create exceptional customer experiences. You’ll help open and close the store as a key-holder and support internal operations, while leading the team to foster an upbeat and productive work environment for the opticians and retail advisors.

• Optical duties — Work directly with customers to help meet all eyewear needs; take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with flawless accuracy; verify that finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements; explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Leadership responsibilities — Set the store up for daily success by ensuring operational, service, and staff zoning procedures meet Warby Parker standards; drive store vision and sales by providing exceptional service and serving as the main contact for customer and operational questions; lead and mentor the Optical team (including participants of the Optician Apprentice Program); maintain general store systems, inventory databases, and business operations;
  
  foster a productive, positive employee culture.

• A licensed dispensing optician in licensing states (or an ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states) with 2+ years of experience, including supervisory responsibilities
