The Store Manager is responsible for driving budgeted net sales and operating profit for their store, ensuring high levels of customer service, brand representation, and effective staffing and operations.
Key Responsibilities- Drive net sales and operating profit by exceeding budgeted goals.
- Identify opportunities and develop solutions to increase traffic, improve the client experience, and support sales and operations teams.
- Create strategies to deliver an exceptional client experience and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual results while maximizing productivity.
- Plan and execute local events tied to the community to drive incremental traffic and sales.
- Understand and embody the Lilly Pulitzer brand framework, creating a high‑performance selling environment that exceeds client expectations.
- Build trusting, lasting relationships with clients, resolving issues as they arise.
- Oversee financial management including payroll and expense budgets.
- Enhance store culture by engaging and inspiring staff through Core Values and Core Leadership Qualities.
- Delegate responsibilities to achieve goals and foster skill development within teams.
- Build and coach high‑performing teams, providing clear feedback and encouraging a supportive atmosphere.
- Recruit, hire, train, discipline, and evaluate staff while maintaining compliance and partnering with Talent Development.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional partners to maintain inventory integrity and visual/operational standards.
- 5+ years of retail management experience, preferably in fashion or luxury retail.
- Understanding of specialty retail operations, visual merchandising, and business development.
- Strong relationship building skills for clients and colleagues.
- Superior written and verbal communication.
- Excellent problem‑solving and decision‑making.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- High ownership and responsibility.
- Proficiency in Microsoft and Apple technology.
- Familiarity with XStore and Tulip is a plus.
- Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds, stand, and maneuver in‑store throughout shift.
- A four‑year college degree is preferred but not required.
The position is full‑time salaried, exempt, with an average 40‑hour work week and eligibility for standard company benefits including healthcare, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and product discounts. Bonus and/or commission opportunities may be offered.
Pay Range: $58,100 – $76,000 per year.
Flexible working hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, may be required. The position adheres to the Company Retail Holiday time‑off policy.
LocationThis position is based in‑store at our Lilly Pulitzer Retail Location.
