Accounting Manager

We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to support financial operations for a printing and publishing organization in Lynnwood, Washington. This Contract position is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented accounting specialist who can oversee core close activities, maintain accurate financial records, and provide reliable reporting in a fast-paced environment. The role will work across general ledger processes, reconciliations, and audit support while helping ensure strong financial controls and timely month-end execution.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the monthly close process by coordinating timelines, reviewing entries, and ensuring deadlines are met with accuracy.
• Manage general ledger activity and maintain the integrity of financial data across key accounting functions.
• Prepare, review, and post journal entries with appropriate supporting documentation and adherence to accounting standards.
• Perform detailed account reconciliations, investigate discrepancies, and resolve outstanding items in a timely manner.
• Support the preparation of financial statements and related schedules to provide clear and accurate reporting to leadership.
• Partner with internal and external auditors by organizing requested documentation and responding to audit inquiries efficiently.
• Monitor accounting processes and recommend improvements that strengthen controls and streamline day-to-day operations.
• Utilize Net Suite to manage accounting records, reporting activities, and system-based financial workflows.
