A well-established and growing construction organization is seeking a Project Accountant to support multiple active projects while partnering with Project Managers, subcontractors, and accounting teams. Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite, Fridays remote

• Manage project invoicing and billing based on contract terms, schedules of values, and project costs
• Review job cost data to ensure project expenses are captured accurately
• Support project financial reporting, reconciliations, and account analysis
• Review contracts, proposals, and change documentation to ensure billing compliance
• Process and track subcontractor documentation and contractual requirements
• Coordinate collections activities and resolve billing discrepancies
• Manage lien releases, tier releases, and supporting payment documentation
• Prepare certified payrolls, union documentation, and project compliance reports
• Support external audits and project billing reviews
• Partner with Project Managers, General Contractors, and internal teams to ensure accurate project financials

• 3+ years of Project Accounting or Construction Accounting experience
• Strong understanding of job costing and project billing
• Experience processing invoices and managing project financial documentation
• Construction industry experience is required
• Strong reconciliation and reporting skills
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• Experience with Vista ERP
• Experience supporting subcontractors or specialty contractors
• Knowledge of certified payroll, union reporting, and construction compliance documentation
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

This is a Contract position based out of Lynnwood, WA.

The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $43.25/hr.
