Position: Full-Time (Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.)
This is an in-office position. Remote work is not available. This position does not provide H-1B sponsorship.

We are looking for an Administrative Assistant who will be the first point of contact for our clients. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, dependable, and genuinely enjoys helping people.

If you do not enjoy working with people from diverse cultures or cannot provide empathetic customer service to immigrant families, this position is not a good fit.
While previous law office or immigration experience is helpful, we are happy to train the right candidate who shares our values of compassion, integrity, and exceptional client service.
Responsibilities- Answer incoming telephone calls and direct calls appropriately.
- Conduct client intake calls and collect preliminary information from prospective clients.
- Schedule consultations and client meetings.
- Welcome clients and visitors to the office.
- Receive, sort, scan, and distribute incoming mail.
- Prepare outgoing mail and shipping through USPS and Fed Ex.
- Monitor and respond to general office emails.
- Assist with conflict checks and opening new client files.
- Assist attorneys and legal assistants with administrative tasks.
- Order office supplies and maintain office inventory.
- Keep reception and common areas organized and professional.
- Process payments and provide receipts to clients.
- Assist with special projects and perform other administrative duties as assigned.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and PDF software.
- Ability to quickly learn new computer software.
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Previous administrative, receptionist, customer service, or law office experience is preferred but not required.
- Base hourly wage: $22-$26, depending on experience.
- Two weeks of paid vacation annually.
- Medical and dental insurance. The firm pays 100% of employee medical/dental insurance premiums.
- Optional participation in the firm’s cell phone plan.
- Costco membership provided, if desired.
- Annual base wage increases of approximately 3-5%, depending on performance and the firm’s economic outlook.
