Salary Range: $30.00 To $53.00 Hourly

The successful candidate should have experience in the diagnosis, mechanical operation, and repair of automobiles. The Automotive Technician will work closely with the Service Manager and the rest of the Audi Service team.

• Completesserviceandrepairassignmentscorrectlyinthespecifiedtimeframe,ensuring repairs passqualityinspections andtestdrives.
• Diagnoses and corrects mechanical and electrical problems in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Explaintechnicaldiagnosesandneededrepairstonon-technicalindividualswhichmay include other teammates andcustomersasrequired.
• Uses manuals,computers systems,andtechnicalbulletinstocompletetherepairorder.
• Stays up to date on the latest technical services and all information pertinent (i.e., dealership policies and procedures) to the Automotive Technician position through trainings, bulletins,campaigns,etc.
• Maintains a clean and well-organized work area; performs preventative maintenance, cleaning,and repairs ondealershiptoolsandequipment.
• Always maintains safe working practices and abides by working rules and standards; follows all hazardous wasteandOSHAsafetyregulations andcompany policies.
• Coordinates with parts department to ensure parts are available to complete repair; properly disposes of usedpartsandreturnsunusedpartsto thepartspersonor location.
• Promotes the dealership by always presenting a professional image and positive attitude; demonstrates commitmenttoother staff,customers,dealership,andcompany.
• Works collaboratively with internal and external customers/provides technical assistance and support toteammembersas needed.
• Expected to complete and maintain factory certification and factory trainings as directed and in the timeframe established by their direct supervisor.

• One year experience in the automotive repair industry as a technician or mechanic is preferred. – Hiring Immediately!
• ASEand brand certifications are a plus.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Possessorbewillingtopurchaseyourowntools.
• Attention to detail, organization, and communication skills are essential to a successful technician.
• Be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver's license.
