Associate Faculty Pool, Economics (PT Time) Salary
A five-credit "lecture mode" class would be approximately $6,387.94.

Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Economics.
- Some teaching experience, preferably at a community college.
- Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written English.
- Familiarity with Canvas learning management system, or another similar system.
- Master's degree in Economics.
Work is typically performed in a classroom which requires standing and/or sitting for extended periods of time. Instructors typically use a personal computer in the work environment.
CompensationThe work schedule is based on an eleven‑week quarterly schedule and could vary each quarter. Salary is dependent upon contract load and mode of instruction. A standard five‑credit "lecture mode" class would be approximately $6,387.94 at Step
A. Special assignments are paid at $45 per hour, and meeting stipends are compensated per the CBA rate, starting at $55 for meetings lasting from 30 minutes up to 2 hours.

Information from the background check will not necessarily preclude employment but will be considered in determining the applicant’s suitability and competence to perform in the position.
