The Creative Kids Academy Assistant Teacher – Lynnwood, WA – Full Time
Working with children on their daily activities and curriculum inside and outside the classroom. Following all DCYF/WAC requirements, communicating with families about their child’s needs and day, and collaborating with fellow teachers.
Physical RequirementsBend, reach, lift, move objects and children. Minimal sitting, mostly standing, walking, and moving around.
Qualifications- Cleared portable background check
- Food handlers permit
- Proof of MMR
- Proof of negative TB test
- Valid driver’s license
- High school diploma
- 30 hours STARS training (preferred)
- 30 hour STARS training
- CPR
- First Aid
- BBP/HIV training
- Safe sleep training
- EQEL if needed
- Child care tuition discount (at The Creative Kids Academy only)
- Paid holidays/paid after 90 days of employment
- 4 paid in-service training days (attendance mandatory)
- Annual reviews
- Years of service & classification vacation leave per leave year
1–3 years of service: 1 week vacation
3–5 years of service: 2 weeks vacation
5–10 years of service: 3 weeks vacation
More than 10 years of service: 5 weeks vacation
Other Compensation- Teacher referral bonus: $200 after new employee completes 90 days of employment
- Tuition reimbursement for ECE classes/credits through Early Achiever’s Program
