Part-Time Proctor

Overview

Orbis Education partners with colleges and universities to expand pre-licensure healthcare programs. The Exam Proctor will facilitate testing of nursing students in a computer lab environment. The incumbent will identify, admit, seat, and monitor examinees according to guidelines and prepare testing materials and rooms prior to examinees' arrival. The position is based in Lynnwood, WA with a flexible part-time schedule based on student testing needs.

Mon-Fri, part time based on student testing schedule (varies weekly)

Pay: $18 - $20/hour

• Testing Lab Preparation:
  Maintain computer testing rooms in advance of scheduled exams. Monitor computers and assure operational status; troubleshoot common problems. Restore testing area to its previous arrangement after exams.
• Exam Proctoring:
  Proctor computer-based exams, verify appropriate identification as necessary for admission, assist students with login, troubleshoot testing issues, and enforce all rules and regulations.

• Experience in a higher education environment is strongly preferred, but not required.
• Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Learning Content Management Systems (LCMS) is strongly preferred, but not required.
• Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, Windows applications, internet and email.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills; positive attitude; high integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
