Job Summary:

The Customer Service Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting customer administration and sales processes. This role provides exposure to order management, ERP systems, and customer communication while assisting the Customer Service team with day-to-day activities. The internship is designed to help students apply classroom knowledge in a professional setting and develop skills for future careers in business or customer service.

Essential Functions:

* Assist with reviewing and entering customer purchase orders into ERP system

* Support preparation of quotes and order acknowledgments under supervision

* Help maintain accurate customer data and files

* Provide status updates to internal teams and assist with customer inquiries

* Collaborate with team members to learn customer service workflows

* Participate in meetings and training sessions as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

* Actively pursuing a BA or BS degree in Business, Communications, or related field

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)

* Strong verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple tasks

* Participate in meetings and training sessions as assigned

Working Conditions:

* Standard office environment

* Work requires substantial visual concentration on detail

* Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment

* Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to: eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE

* May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes

* Must be flexible to work overtime as needed
