Leidos is seeking a Senior Life Cycle Manager to support cutting‑edge engineering efforts within the Undersea Systems Division (USD). This role is a unique opportunity to drive innovation in remote vehicle systems and maritime sensors that support critical defense and national security missions.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the development and implementation of life cycle product support and logistical strategies, frameworks, and best practices for key technologies Leidos is developing.
  • Provide subject matter expertise in reliability, maintainability, and total cost of ownership analysis.
  • Support cross‑functional teams in integrating life cycle considerations into design, development, and operations.
  • Conduct assessments of current product development and support processes and recommend improvements for efficiency and sustainability.
  • Guide root cause analysis, failure modes and effects analysis (FMEA), and reliability‑centered maintenance (RCM) efforts.
  • Teach leads and engineering team members how to build internal life cycle engineering capability for long‑term product support and sustainment.
  • Support and guide the development of documentation, standards, and training materials to support long‑term adoption of best practices.
  • Provide training sessions and knowledge transfer to internal team members.
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum of 20+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, and product support, with a strong focus on life cycle sustainment for Navy systems.
  • Demonstrated expertise in logistics planning, reliability analysis, asset management, and product/system life cycle methodologies.
  • Deep knowledge of government and industry standards and tools related to life‑cycle support, training, documentation, and repair.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
  • Experience mentoring and developing cross‑disciplined technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the US Navy programs, contracts, and mission requirements.
