* Job Summary:

** The Inspection Supervisor leads and directs a team of employees in assigned areas of inspection operations, including receiving inspection and final inspection. This role is responsible for implementing and managing quality assurance efforts to ensure supplier components, materials, and finished goods meet quality standards based on organizational and customer requirements. The Inspection Supervisor is accountable for maintaining a safe working environment, adhering to quality and operational standards, and achieving area safety, quality, delivery, cost, and growth metrics.

* Essential Functions:

* Customer source inspection
* Delegated Manufacturing Inspection Representative (DMIR – FAA) and conformity inspection
* Stamp Control and audits

* Minimum Qualifications:

**** Experience**: 2+ years closely related work experience in the defense, space electronics or high-end aerospace industry; 2+ years leadership experience
** Knowledge:
** Knowledge of Quality Management Systems as well as Process Improvement and Control Techniques;
Demonstrated knowledge of manufacturing best practices, process control, logistics processes (inventory management), engineering management (project management) and safety management
** Skills/Abilities:
** Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
Effective written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills;
Ability to manage through influence;
Ability to demonstrate a strong sense of urgency
** Education/Certification**: B.A. or B.S. degree in electrical or mechanical engineering, operations management or related field
