* Experience:
** Process Engineer I: 0-2 years relevant work experience;
Process Engineer II: 2+ years of relevant work experience.
* ** Knowledge:
** Understands fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of assigned product or program;
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field;
Other knowledge varies by division
* ** Skills/Abilities:
** Strong Statistics / Analysis / Problem Solving skills;
Self-motivated / Ability to prioritize / Strong time management skills;
Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of the organization;
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal staff and outside professionals;
Basic ability to analyze and document analysis of materials and parts (i.e. fluid, corrosion, fungal and flame resistance)
* ** Education/Certification**: BA or BS degree in Engineering discipline, i.e. Material, Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical
* ** Eligibility Requirement:*
* * This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).

* Preferred Qualifications:
*** Master’s degree in engineering discipline, i.e. Material, Chemical, Industrial, or Mechanical
* Aerospace or military materials engineering experience

* Working Conditions:
*** Standard office environment:
Work requires substantial visual concentration on detail
* May need to work with chemicals and oversee chemical processes and tests
* May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises, cold temperatures, confined spaces, dust or fumes
* May have special circumstances that require work at night or on holidays;
May need to be available by phone after work hours
* Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment
* Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE
* May travel occasionally
* Standing: 40% percentage is approximate and may vary depending on work task
* Sitting: 60% percentage is approximate and may vary depending on work task
* Lifting (in pounds): up to 20 pounds
* Pushing (in pounds): up to 20 pounds
* Mental/Visual: use of computer, calculator, microscope, camera, databases, software tools, materials test equipment
* Workspace (line, cube, etc): cubicle/desk
