Leidos is seeking a Senior Test and Integration Engineer to lead cutting‑edge testing and validation efforts within the Undersea Systems Division (USD). This role is a unique opportunity to drive innovation in testing underwater vehicle systems, maritime sensors, subsea telemetry, and ISR solutions that support critical defense and national security missions. You’ll contribute to a multidisciplinary team focused on testing, integrating, and validating advanced maritime technologies, ensuring system reliability and performance from prototype design to full‑scale system deployment for ongoing Navy missions.

- Lead the planning and development of comprehensive test plans, procedures, and protocols to ensure system functionality, reliability, and compliance with requirements.
- Analyze and communicate complex test results to inform system integration, validation, and verification.
- Organize and ensure the auditability and retainability of OQE, test procedures, reports, and results.
- Work closely with systems engineers, software developers, and hardware teams to identify and resolve issues during testing phases.
- Communicate directly with government customer to coordinate testing.
- Ensure a “design for testing” focus during system development and integration.
- Guide and mentor a matrixed team of engineers through testing phases of the product lifecycle.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Ocean), Computer Science, Physics, or Math.
- 8+ years of hands‑on testing, integration, validation, and verification experience with software and integrated electro‑mechanical systems including developing test procedures.
- Experience with designing, writing, executing, and evaluating system integration bench tests.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain a SECRET clearance.
- Familiarity with UUVs, deployed subsea systems, and underwater payloads.
- Experience with government operational testing and developmental testing processes.
- Experience working with DoW Operational Test & Evaluation.
- Over 10 years of experience leading integration, testing, validation, and verification of complex subsea maritime systems.
Pay Range: $92,300.00 – $.
