Event Production Technician

Think backstage crew, but in a different kind of live-production environment.

We’re looking for someone who likes being part of the crew that turns an empty room into an event. You’ll help unload and set up equipment, run cables, set speakers and lighting, test microphones, follow cues, troubleshoot the occasional “Why is this not working?” moment, and pack everything back up at the end of the night.

If you’ve done stage crew or technical theater before, some of this will feel pretty familiar. If you haven't, but you’re the kind of person who likes equipment, figuring things out, and being useful when things get busy, we can teach you our setup.

There is one important difference from traditional backstage work: you’re not hidden backstage.

You’ll be out in the room, talking with people, helping operate the event, creating playlists, and playing music through the equipment you just set up. You really are part of the party.

And yes, that means you need to know music.

You don't have to be a human Spotify database, but if I ask you to name a few disco artists and your first response is, “Does Pitbull count?” this might not be the best fit for you.
