Highly reputable CPA firm in Edmonds, WA is seeking a Tax Manager or Tax Senior to lead tax planning and compliance in a rapidly growing organization.

• Develop and implement strategic tax planning for federal and state taxes.
• Manage tax team members preparing U.S. federal income tax returns and state returns.
• Review tax returns and quarterly/yearly projections.
• Prepare responses and schedules for IRS income tax audits.
• Monitor legislative and regulatory tax law developments, communicate changes to management and the tax team, and develop strategies.
• Provide support for internal audits and special tax projects.
• Coordinate tax audits and maintain tax balances on the general ledger.
• Prepare regular tax paperwork and handle information data requests.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA, Master’s in Taxation, JD, or LLM in Taxation preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a tax manager or public accountant role, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• In-depth knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns.
• Proficiency with tax software and MS Office.
• Strong deadline management, problem‑solving, client service, and relationship building skills.
• Strong leadership and personnel management abilities.
• Analytical and detail‑oriented.
